Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Part-Time School Administrator to join our team at Al Bushra Elementary School. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong commitment to supporting the school’s mission, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently. This position is 20 hours per week, providing vital support to the school’s operations.
Role and Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Assist with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining school records.
Coordinate and manage the school’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and events.
Prepare and distribute school communications, such as newsletters, announcements, and updates.
Support the Principal and teaching staff with various administrative duties as needed.
Student and Parent Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for parents and students, providing information and assistance as needed.
Manage student enrollment and maintain accurate student records.
Assist with organizing and coordinating school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
Office Management:
Ensure the office is well-organized and supplies are well-stocked.
Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and managing petty cash.
Maintain confidentiality of all student and staff information.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in an educational setting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with email and calendar management.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
